WHAT DOES ORIKANT MEAN?
Created from the Latin words "orior" (to rise) and "incantare" (to enchant), Orikant means "rising from enchantment" .
Our motto, "weaver of tales", reflects our know-how and ambition: weaving stories, tales, and dreams in order to bring imaginary worlds to life and share them with others.
WHY?
We are part of a generation that grew up with fantasy classics. Imagination in all its forms (books, games, TV shows, etc.) always had a central place in our lives.
Yet we could not find clothes reflecting our vision of the worlds that make us dream. Orikant is dedicated to those who believe that true magic lies in the details and who want to celebrate imagination with passion, subtlety and ethics.
With Orikant, we want to turn into clothing the excitement accompanying the discovery of cinema adaptations, the adventures shared during role-playing evenings or even the discovery of the last volume of a long saga...
Processus créatif
Pour créer les motifs Orikant, tout commence par une idée, puis quelques croquis, et ensuite beaucoup de discussions et de retouches pour affiner le design afin d'une part de réussir à faire passer des émotions et une ambiance en quelques fils et d'autre part pour adapter le dessin et sa complexité aux contraintes techniques de la broderie.
Notre particularité? Toutes nos broderies sont réalisés par des artistes passionnés de fantasy qui le temps d'un dessin (ou plusieurs) transforment leur imaginaire en un élégant motif. Chaque broderie évoque une facette différente des contes et de la fantasy pour capter une ambiance et un univers unique.
Pour l'instant, notre boutique en ligne propose 3 modèles différents : L'envol du dragon, Secrets Oubliés et Balade Polaire. Ce n'est pas une très grande collection, mais c'est la qualité qui compte, pas la quantité! Et puis nous espérons que vous aurez un tel coup de cœur pour l'un de nos designs que vous n'aurez même pas besoin de consulter un large choix de tee shirts avant de vous décider!
